Alim Programme
The Alim Programme train learners to become scholars of Islam, traditionally taught by Qualified and experienced Scholars of Islam. The Alim Programme not only teaches students to comprehend but to practice and teach Islamic sciences.
In the Alim Programme students will develop the understanding of Arabic Language, Quran Reading with Tajweed, Laws of Tajweed, Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh), Islamic beliefs (Aqidah), Islamic history (Seerah), Hadith (Sayings of the Prophet ص) Tafseer-ul-Quran and more.
Our six year Programme is an Arabic to English medium which is design to facilitate our English speaking students in Trinidad and the Caribbean at large.
Class Periods:
Classes for the Alim Programme are conducted from Monday through Friday from 8:00am-3:00pm. The programme is conducted in three terms in a year:
Term 1: September-December
Term 2: January-April
Term 3: May-July
Practical Training:
Apart from studying in a classroom, part of our Alim Programme is delivering Friday Khutbah, delivering speeches, Teaching Maktab and adult classes.
Prerequisites:
- Students wishing to apply must be 13 years or older.
- Must complete at least a minimum of Form 2 secular education.
Requirements:
- Filled out registration form
- Students coming in for an interview under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
- A copy of birth certificate.
- School copy of immunization card.
- Two passport size photo.
- Any legal document which pertains to personal information.
- Parents/guardians accompanying students under the age of 18 years must have a copy of their ID.
