Infant 1- Standard 5 Activities
An Nur Islamic Academy Primary School nurtures children from Standard One (1) to Standard Five (5) in an Islamic environment. Our objective is to create young leaders with high standards of education both Islamic and secular, and Islamic morals and etiquettes.
Our Primary School follows the curriculum of the Ministry of Education of Trinidad and Tobago and is taught by a qualified, experienced and a well dedicated teaching staff. The primary school has seven levels infants 1 and 2 as well as Standard 1 – Standard 5. Our secular subjects includes Mathematics, Language Arts, Reading, Comprehension, Creative Writing, Vocabulary, Science and Social Studies. Our Islamic Curriculum is based on a very well-studied syllabus, which teaches topics such as Fiqh, Adaab, Islamic History, Islamic Beliefs, Hadith, Duas and Quran Reading.
Class Periods:
Classes for the Primary School are conducted from Monday through Friday from 8:00am-3:00pm. There are three terms in a year:
Term 1: September-December
Term 2: January-April
Term 3: May-July
Prerequisites:
- Parents must ensure that their child have completed 2 years of Preschool.
- Must be five years of age to register for Infant 1.
Requirements:
- Complete registration form
- 2 passport size pictures
- School copy of immunization card
- Registration Fee $150.00
- Monthly school fee $200.00/Month
